Paradise Lost

I bought a paradise. But it only looked like one. It’s hell on earth. Dark and moist and full of fear. I loathe the place. I’d rather live in a small place, in the city. Where I see people, smile at them. Walk to the bakery in the morning. Sit in a café. Order take-out. Not rotting away in a hole in the middle of nowhere. Where no-one sees me. I went to live there because I tried the fucking comfort zone challenge. It’s a scam. If you’re lucky enough to find your comfort zone, you fucking stay.

That’s not fear talking, that’s experience. Trust me on that.
I’ve been to hell and back and I’m learning to fly.

Take me to paradise.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
