Why was I born, you ask. And why will I die? And why does it hurt so much to be alive. I don’t have the answers. All I know is that you are not the only one. As a child, laying in bed at night, afraid of death, I would seek solace in annihilation. Knowing that those who had already left could do it, that I could do it too.

But death is not the problem, having been born is.
